Plans for New Houses to be Built in Broughton

Plans are in the works for 51 new houses to be built in the Broughton area, on Garstang Road, following an application that has been submitted.

There will be a variety of different houses available, with a choice of larger detached houses, smaller detached and semi-detached houses. 18 of the houses are to be affordable but there is still discussions on how many bedrooms all of the houses will have.

Each house will feature private amenity space and car parking provision within their area.

The new houses will be easily accessible for all, with vehicular and pedestrian access into the site from Garstang Road through a new priority junction. This will also take into account of the cycle lane on the west side of the road.

Pedestrian and cycle connection is also accessible to the Guild Wheel where it passes along the northern site boundary.
