Preston Hotelier Given Huge £1.17M Investment For New Apartments

A high-end Preston hotelier has been backed by Lloyds Bank with a huge £1.17 million investment, to create new apartments in the North West.

Max Walker-Williams, who operates as founder and director of both Winckley Square Hotel and No.10 Preston, plans to grow his property portfolio exponentially over the next 10 years.

Plans to develop a building in Chester city centre into 19 apartments, as well as a build to create 23 luxury apartments in Ormskirk, have got big backing from investors.

Founder and director Max Walker-Williams told insider media limited, “Our ultimate goal is to grow our portfolio to include 30 aparthotels within the next ten years. While it may seem ambitious, we have a proven track record of success and continue to see an appetite for the boutique style of luxury accommodation we offer.”

Dale Parkinson, real estate relationship manager for Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, added, “Walker & Williams is a prime example of a dynamic business that simply refuses to stand still.

“Thanks to the hard work and ambition of Max and his family, the firm has achieved rapid success and continues to cultivate a popular brand that will only grow with each new venture.”
