Eight New Bungalows at Penwortham Retirement Complex Have Been Approved

Exciting plans for eight new retirement bungalows have been approved by the Fairhaven Housing Association at its Crownlee residential development.

The new two-bedroom bungalows aim to increase the over 55s accommodation to 48 residential homes within the area. These high-quality homes are set to include open living spaces, two spacious double bedrooms, private patios and views over the landscaped gardens.

Scheduled to begin as quickly as august this year, the bungalows set to be completed by spring 2022.

Fairhaven are partnering with famous Preston architects, Cassidy and Ashton, who designed the Crownlee bungalows constructed in the early 1980s.

Andrew Atkinson, managing director at Fairhaven, said ”“Crownlee is a much loved and sought-after retirement location. The addition of these eight properties will help meet local demand by providing first class housing which promotes independence and wellbeing in later life.”

These new bungalows at Crownlee will be available to reserve off plan from August 2021.
