An important building in the Preston skyline looks set to be sold in the coming months. The Preston Guild Tower, previously owned by Simon Rigby, is up for sale.
Located off Church Row, the 15-storey city centre building provides 70,600 sq ft of office space and a substantial leisure offering.
Duxburys is the agent for Guild Tower acting on behalf of an unnamed vendor. The agent is seeking offers in excess of £3.5m.
Currently vacant, the offices are spread across 14 floors.
Excitingly, the property also boasts a 43,000 sq ft leisure facility featuring a bowling alley, arcade, restaurant, and sports bar on its ground floor and basement level.
The tenants, trading as Level, would renew their lease following the sale of the building at a rent of £100,000 per year.
Guild Tower’s upper floors hold the potential for redevelopment following the grant of planning permission for 105 serviced apartments, a casino, and a health spa and gym there in 2016.
The Guild Tower is held on a long ground lease from Preston City Council.
