Landlords optimistic about buy-to-let in 2021

Despite the challenges of coronavirus 45% of landlords are optimistic about the state of the buy-to-let market this year, a recent survey has found.

However 29% of those surveyed were pessimistic about the buy-to-let market in the coming year and many of these feared landlords would be, in the words of one person, “sitting ducks” when it came to raising taxes to pay for the current crisis.

Nazim Patel, Branch Manager at Click Estate Agents, said: “2020 has been a very challenging time for landlords but we’re glad to see there’s optimism and hope as we enter into 2021.”

“We’re glad to be working with many landlords to help them on their journey and ease any problems that might occur.
