New Hall Lane Working Mens Club Set To Become Apartments

The site of a former working men’s club on New Hall Lane is set to become apartments, according to recent planning applications submitted to Preston City Council.

The Fishwick Rambles Working Men’s Club on Mornington Road could be converted into a building with a range of different apartments, having been closed for many years. A planning application was submitted to Preston city council earlier this year.

The plan is for 13 one-bedroom apartments to be built on the grounds, along with 14 car parking spaces.

The development will also create three part-time and three full-time jobs in the area.

Weaver Finch Ltd submitted the application, who are based in Bowness on Windermere.

The planning application was registered on 18 March and the council are yet to make a decision.
